Salutations to everyone from Spain. Today’s my last day in this country for a while (going to Japan for a few months because of work) so I’ll write this and keep everyone updated about the progress in the projects.
Gin’Iro
Pain. (Translator’s note: not a lot of progress, and I’m sad.)
I apologize. There’s not been a lot of progress lately on this, and I’m not sure what to do to speed things up, since I’m not in control of it.
Akatsuki no Goei 2
Kobra has pretty much finished every route except Anzu’s. He’s going through it now. I’m pretty sure he’ll be done by the end of the month. QA has been keeping up nicely with him, so the delay between the game being finished and being released won’t be very big.
Akatsuki no Goei 3
Though I’m still technically ahead of schedule, I will admit that progress on this thing has slowed down considerably. To be completely honest, I just haven’t felt like it, and it’s so frickin’ hot over here that doing anything at all is already a herculean ordeal for me. I’ll keep up making progress this month though. Like I said, I’m still ahead of schedule, so we should be fine.
I’m currently working on Reika’s route (includes Shion and Kaoru). These routes are projected to be done around September if I remember correctly.
So yeah, that’s pretty much everything.
On a side note, I’ve actually been hired into a visual novel company just the other day (yay!). It’ll probably slow down things over here a little, but not too much. This also has no bearing with the projects we’re working over here in any way, shape, or form.
Have a good summer and that stuff.

I’m starting to think that the Ginhiro Translation is not being taken seriously. I mean, I know you guys don’t get anything out of this, but even I know that when you start something, you can’t just abandon it and not giving a proper explanation. I respect your work and everything you do, but if you don’t feel like finishing it, or you can’t due to circumstances, just do what Tsurezure Scans did, and give it to someone else to finish it

Hey there Juan. Just because Irru is slow it doesn’t mean that we’re more or less serious about it. If Irru truly doesn’t want to work on it, then we’ll find a solution and make a release, but ultimately we do this on our free time. Give us some leeway.

Any chance you can talk about the stuff you are working on with the VN company once it’s formally announced? Even though you said it has no bearing on the current projects, is it likely after the current fan translation projects are done you may pivot away from them as you may get more work from VN companies and such?

Hey there, Weedle. I’ll obviously be open about it whenever the things I’m working on are announced. My workload isn’t very insane at the moment. They might give me more work in the future. HOWEVER, I also want to note that my desire is to continue working on these free commitments, mainly because they’re games I like. The only downside is that they’ll probably take longer than what I’ve done so far, as I had no other side commitments before.
TL;DR, my current plan is to keep working on fan translations while managing side projects. If anything changes and I have less time for this, I’ll be open about it after finishing the trilogy.
